IBM should do this

Disney has started running adds touting how affordable a vacation there can be, with the URL  Granted, much of this is marketing (I'm not sure how $18 ravioli qualifies as "affordable").  Still, the whole idea is to at least begin the conversation with people who automatically think "We can't do a Disney vacation - it's too expensive."

IBM faces a similar perception problem.  And before you start attacking me, I'm not saying that we will always be the lowest cost alternative, but I think in general our solutions come in a lot lower than people might expect them to.  Especially people who just think "IBM isn't for me, I don't have those kind of budgets." and don't even give us (or our Business Partners) a call.

So, to any of my marketing colleagues who might be reading, wouldn't it be interesting if we made a live link?

    Great idea Adam. Getting that microsite/landing page going would be excellent and if it were done, the URL should be featured prominently in any ad placements that are SMB targeted - Entreprener, Inc. magazines etc.. that sort of thing.

    An example of rather interesting attention-grabbing idea for shows: { Link }
