MTOTD (Marketing Thought of the Day): Honesty

In the new movie "The Invention of Lying," Ricky Gervais has created (and planted himself in the middle of) a world where everyone always tells the truth. This, of course, has some humorous implications for the world of dating.

This inability to tell an untruth also extends to advertising, though, and so in the movie the tagline for Coke is simply "It's very famous."  The tagline for Pepsi - much to their dismay, I'm sure - is "When they don't have Coke."

Here's a marketing thought of the day:  What would your product or service's tagline be if you had to be as brutally honest with it as they are in the movie?  And, what would you wish it would be be?  How can you close that gap?
