Welcome Rob Ingram to the Lotus Sametime team!

I want to issue a public, long overdue welcome to Rob Ingram, who has joined the Lotus Sametime/Unified Communications and Collaboration team as the Senior Product Manager responsible for Lotus Sametime Entry, Standard and Advanced.  David Marshak, who has really been doing double (if not triple) duty over the past year as we've been expanding the Lotus Sametime product family, is now serving as the Senior Product Manager for Lotus Sametime Unified Telephony.    (I kept waiting for the eagle-eyed amongst you to notice that Rob was co-presenting with me for the Lotus Sametime Strategy and Roadmap session at Lotusphere.)

As those of you who know Rob can attest to, this is a tremendous addition for our team, and even in the short time he's been in the role, Rob has really hit the ground running with some great suggestions and ideas for the business.  For those who don't know him, Rob has an incredibly strong product management background with over 13 years experience, including leading product management teams at 2 different companies during a tour outside of Lotus from 2000-2004.  He rejoined Lotus in 2004 as the Lotus Domino product manager where he drove the Domino server strategy and product requirements.

So, please join me in welcoming Rob to the team!

Poor old Rob... I still get to bother him, only now it's a different subject.

But seriously, look at the number of improvements made to Domino during his reign* while still maintaining a consistent architecture. The Redmond crew have never come anywhere near achieving that. His track record bodes well for Sametime.

    * Along with Russ Holden and many other people of course.

Darren - you are right. Many, many capable and dedicated hands and heads are involved to make Domino a great product!! Its been great working with that team. It's been a gerat 3 years. I am now happy to be working in a new equally talented branch of the Lotus family and community.

Thanks, Carl. It does seem to be redirecting to Tivoli. I've notified the folks who run the site, and hopefully it will be resolved ASAP.

@4 - All fixed now; they just updated the site format and it seemed had some hiccups along the way.
